Asics teamed up again with Concepts from Boston for an new Miami pop-up shop coming this weekend and in honor of the occasion, they worked on the Gel Respector. The shoe features a tonal green upper, which is perforated mostly with a white midsole and a fresh gum sole.
It pays reference to Miami's eccentric and infamous lifestyle in the 80's. Who is going to get a pair in Miami receives the shoes in a nice box that looks like piles of cash.

The Respector is set to release on December 5th at Concepts' Cambridge & New York locations swell as the pop-up shop in Miami.

Another pair is going to release, posted by Concepts today on Instagram. Sticking with the illicit theme of the "Coca" Gel Respectors, this sneaker is inspired by infamous cocaine dealer Griselda Blanco. Nicknamed "Black Widow," the black and red colorway features Concepts branding on the tongue and will be housed in special matching packaging.

However, unlike the "Coca" collab, these Gel Respectors won't be releasing in Cambridge or NYC. They're set for a Miami-exclusive launch at Concepts' Art Basel pop-up on December 5, so make sure to swing by if you're in the area.
