Aberdeen sneaker store Hanon revealed their 25th anniversary collaboration on the Asics Gel Lyte III, which is the eleventh part. The colorway's concept is based on the astronomical event of solstice, which takes place twice a year and refers to the time when the sun reaches its highest or lowest excursion to the celestial equator.

Representing the dark winter nights and long summer days, the upper consists of luxurious blue azure suede and plush purple nubuck. The vamp's bespoke perforation reveal a reflective 3M underlay, adding shimmering lights to this shoe.

For the overall colorblocking and collab logos, Hanon actually took inspiration from their own 2011 Asics collab, the ''Wildcats'', which is a shoe that we love and most of the Asics Sneakerheads appreciate.

A celtic knot and flame patterns continue the design concept on the lining, as they represent Hanon's Scottish roots and the ancient Celtic association with the solstice.
An instore release will take place at Hanon on November 28th, the shoe retails there at 130 GBP, sizes range from UK 4 to 12. A worldwide release is set for the same day for a retail price of 150€ in Europe at selected Asics retailers with the Account.
